As a Mom of young children in Middle Tennessee, I began my adventure into photography to capture those special and fleeting moments of my own family; however, it wasn't long until friends began asking me to capture images of their families, and then one day a friend asked me to shoot her wedding. The day I left the house to shoot that wedding, I told my husband that this was the day that would make it or break it. For someone who had just picked up a DSLR for the first time only seven months prior, I nailed it - or I think! At that point it was hook, line, and sinker and I couldn't look back. My very first year of photography, I shot 6 weddings and that was only in the fall months. I was in love. In love with seeing couples in love, in love with gorgeous wedding flowers, in love with stunning bridal dresses, in love with the diamonds - simply in love with all things wedding - and even more so, in love with capturing those moments for sweet couples so they will have beautiful images to share with their children and grandchildren for years to come.
More about me? I'm a Jesus follower, a wife, a mother of 2 sweet blonde headed, blue eyed babies that look nothing like me, and I still work full time at a major insurance company with hopes that Mint Magnolia will one day be my full time gig.
